Authors who publish in the Journal of Accounting, Management, and Economic Studies (JAMES) retain the copyright of their work. By submitting and publishing with JAMES, authors agree to the following conditions:

  1. Copyright Retention and Licensing
    Authors retain full copyright ownership of their published articles. Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, and disseminate the work.

  2. License to Publish and Reuse Rights
    All articles published in JAMES are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Under this license, others are permitted to:

    • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;

    • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial uses;
      provided that:

    • Proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and the journal as the place of first publication;

    • Any derivative works are distributed under the same license as the original (ShareAlike).

  3. Author Self-Archiving
    Authors are encouraged to deposit a copy of their published article in institutional or subject-based repositories, personal websites, or academic social networks, with proper citation to the original publication in JAMES.

  4. Attribution and Citation
    When using published articles, users must provide appropriate citation, including the article title, author(s), journal name, volume, issue, page numbers, and DOI (if available).
